Flame-Retardant Hook & Loop

Flame-Retardant Hook & Loop is developed for applications with defined flammability requirements. Flame-retardant performance can be applied to different product formats, including sew-on, adhesive-backed, back-to-back, cable-tie, strap, perforated, and other converted Hook & Loop constructions, depending on the application and required test standard.

Flame retardancy can be introduced either through inherently flame-resistant fibers, modified polymers, FR masterbatch, or other FR material systems before weaving, or through post-finish treatments such as impregnation, padding, or coating after the Hook & Loop tape has been formed. Each route may affect flexibility, thickness, durability, and closure behavior differently.

Final performance should be verified using the actual finished construction, specified test method, and intended service conditions.
